Recently, I read Frank Herbert's Dune . Epic masterpiece ! Wondering played with the characters . A great story . Cunning intrigue and twists of the plot . Just a bomb. I really liked how this product mixed together the future's art and culture of the East . Consistency of happening full validity Dune universe .
And here the other day revised David Lynch's movie. Although as a child he seemed to me an exciting, I understood why it failed , and so is not popular among fans of the book. Not so much the reason is that the book is huge , and the film is about two hours. David Lynch has just decided to tell us about the universe in the first 30 minutes - sooooo fast and short ( without reading the book that raises many questions .) In the book, only closer to the middle of the product become understand what's what. erbert's Dune Characters appear before us excellent characters, hardened of thousand fights. But the screens we go to the most simple clerks , or as not space characters. Although the Lynch's manner came just in time (especially cool, beating experiences of characters - reading of their thoughts aloud. The costumes, the scenery is just phenomenal. I would particularly like to mention fighting in power switchboards), dune fairly extensive work to tell the story of her feelings for a couple of moments.
Yet the film and the book undoubtedly is phenomenal artwork.
